Sarah sat up. “What are you doing here, Doctor?”
“After everything that happened with Sutekh I wanted to make sure you were all right. You’re only human, you know. You’re a fragile lot.”
Sarah softened. “I’m fine, thanks for asking. Are you all right?”
The question took the Doctor by surprise. Not for the first time, he was reminded that Sarah was perceptive. Sometimes a little too perceptive.
“Oh, I’m all right,” he said. “Of course I’m all right. I’m always all right.”Set after the events of The Pyramids of Mars. After his run-in with Sutekh, the Doctor finds he has some difficulty sleeping. Fortunately, Sarah Jane's bed is big enough for two.
