“Yeah.” His eyes looked you up and down several times, like he was sizing you up. The furrowed eyebrows and downturned mouth only added on to that notion.
“What position?”
He leaned forward, a smirk formed on his face like he was waiting for that question. “Pitcher.”
Great, another smug pitcher. “Want me to catch for you?”
He stayed silent, raising his eyebrows and inspecting you. You glared at him, daring him to say anything.
“Sure.”
