可惜一闭上眼，祸心不会安眠，黑暗把Quackity吞噬的同时，他总能想起右眼失去视力的那一瞬，Technoblade在他眼前自言自语，显然是个真正的疯子，或者嗑嗨了的瘾君子。Quackity在感受着痛意时还能捕捉到四溅的血，由于伤处过近，他自己的血逼真到像被兜头泼来，哗啦啦，是滚烫的，带有高度近似的铁锈味，他仍然不敢相信，颤抖着手去接，手心里的一汪红像生理性的泪水，然而他的泪腺大抵也被破坏了，他自下巴往上摸，能感受到嘴边直至额头有一道深刻的伤痕，眼睛那么脆弱，显然是代表着报废的重灾区。
作死的人们果真赴死，标准无人生还开局，福大命大的却从电影主角变成了他，可惜他同样提心吊胆。同伴们东倒西歪的尸体让木屋成为人间炼狱，为新亡者祈祷之类的教义早就被甩到脑海外，亲身体会总比cult片惊悚得多，结果Technoblade举着镐子倒下，倒显得像造就血腥场面的是他，没有任何自卫武器的外来入侵者。
这一切都太荒诞，那时Quackity无比希望是一场幻觉、一个噩梦。假的吧，他喃喃着，要是那样的话倒好了。

There was a time, not far back in the past, when Damian would’ve considered it dishonourable, a real disgrace to his own name, to what he represented. Timothy had been but an enemy, someone to eliminate and subjugate. And yet, now Damian was the one close to surrender, admitting a defeat that was oh so bittersweet to his senses.
“It’s alright,” Timothy chirped then, looking flattered and apologetic at once. “It’s a normal crush, Damian, many kids of your age have them. You’ll grow out of it.”
“What if I can’t,” he sighed, wondering how common that really was, if Timothy was saying the truth.
