Summary
My loneliness scratches against my sides like sandpaper. Without Dazai, without Kyouka, it feels as if I have nothing left. Kyouka has been given the privilege of returning to a normal life with normal adoptive parents. Her cell phone’s sim card has been removed so she no longer must kill and her departure was my last straw. Kyouka was all that was keeping me at the orphanage. Once she was gone… I couldn’t stand to be there anymore.
All that's left are a few pictures and the memories. Although I don’t move on, I trudge forward.

A few months after Dazai died, Atsushi runs away from the orphanage and takes refuge in the cafe underneath the agency of all places. Naturally, he runs into Akutagawa, naturally, Atsushi is miserable after everything that's happened, and things progress from there.
