“Am I here?”
He still hadn't opened his eyes. He could hear Benji's breath hitch, and the arms around him were tightening again. Benji's fingertips were making small circles on his collarbone.
"Yeah, you're here as well," Benji finally said.
Ethan has trouble telling what is real after communicating with the Entity. Trust in reality and his own perception shattered, he withdraws. But he can’t keep away from Benji forever. A life with Benji is all that he wants, but maybe it's not safe; maybe it's all a mistake.
