Planearon pasar su luna de miel en una cabaña en las Islas Balsa. La República de Rokario había sido un destino propuesto por Gon, quien ansiaba disfrutar de las costas calurosas que se asemejaban a las playas vírgenes de Isla Ballena, en la ciudad de Doli.
Gon y Killua decidieron aquello con bastante antelación, junto con los demás preparativos de la gran boda que se llevó a cabo en Julio, a mediados del verano en Isla Ballena. El evento fue exageradamente grande y perduró durante días enteros llenos de un ambiente festivo, comida, alcohol, música y bailes. Ninguno de los recién casados estaba acostumbrado a fiestas de tal magnitud, pero de todas formas, fue la mejor fiesta a la que Gon y Killua alguna vez habían asistido, y con buenas razones.
