Summary

When twins are born in Sithein, they are born with the other's soul inside of them. They have to learn the balance of the other. Usually twins were only born in Chaos and Order, so Jeongguk and Namjoon were never supposed to exist. Light and darkness have a co-existence but they should never be mixed.
When Jeongguk is banished and Namjoon disappears, it's only a matter of time before the other's essence devours them whole.

“Oh yeah?” Satoru finds himself talking back again, lifting his chin a fraction higher, “And where would that be?”
Suguru leans in, lips brushing his ear as he whispers, making Satoru shudder in his overheated skin,"On your hands and knees, drooling into the pillows as I remind you exactly who you belong to."

Summary
Suguru was not smiling but he wasn’t frowning, either. Stoic. He watched over the room of people he had known for so much longer than Satoru had, surveying with eyes that caught everything. His gaze roamed until landing on Satoru, right next to him, shoulders pressed together and sharing warmth. Hard to read, even after the months of apprehensive friendship between the two of them. Satoru had come to realize that maybe he did not need to read him like he read everyone else. Maybe Suguru was not a book he should force open. So he didn’t. He let his eyes stay on Suguru’s face, not to search for emotions or signs of incoming doom, no. Just to gaze. Suguru seemed to soften, like he could read everything on Satoru’s face and he probably could. He had never been good at hiding it.
OR: Satoru, escaping his hometown and the cloud that hangs over it, moves to a new city to be closer to his best friend, Nanami, and gets a job at a local cafe. Cue Satoru Gojo struggling as he makes new friends, repairs broken relationships, and falls in love. But the past is nasty, and it has a way of rearing its ugly head, no matter how far Satoru runs.

Summary
Maybe this is just another reason, another excuse for Satoru to be touched by Suguru, to be pliant in his hands if only for a temporary amount of time. At this point, Satoru will grasp at anything to get Suguru’s attention, whether it be through his touch or his gaze or his voice. It’s already been decided:
Satoru will get a tattoo, and Suguru will be the one to do it.

In an effort to entice his tattoo artist best friend, Satoru ends up with a tongue piercing and a tramp stamp.

Summary
Shoko keeps asking him if they fell out because of a fight, or something. He assures her it’s much simpler than that:
Satoru moved to Kyoto for university, and Suguru stayed in Tokyo. They didn’t really keep in touch.
Sad, sure— but such fates are met by plenty of childhood friends.
(He knows Shoko texts Satoru a lot, knows they kept in contact— and he wonders if she asks him the same question: Did you have a fight?
He wonders if Satoru gives her a different answer.)

Or: Despite all the memories coloring their childhood, at twenty-four, Suguru hadn't seen Satoru for years. And then he's there, again, in his life, abrupt and distracting and mesmerizing like a snowstorm, and Suguru has a lifetime or feelings he seems to have gotten too old to ignore.
