He was pointing at his chest once again, accusingly and maybe… maybe Kou had something to feel guilty about, after all, despite the mean things he had just said about his friend.

“And! And at this point I feel like I need to remind you myself because-! Because sometimes you act like you actually don't remember. You know we don't, right? Your little freak of a bathroom-pervert friend and me. We’re not growing up with you. We're supernaturals. We're dead.”//: Kou will make Mitsuba a human being, believe it or not. However, this is the story of Mitsuba looking for himself and Kou spending a week inviting him on dates to find him. (Because this is basically what happens.)

Summary
Mitsuba whines like a wounded animal, and as Kou stands up and walks around the table to get to him, he catches a glimpse of his eyes. Something dark and desperate lurks there, and it's the harshest reminder of the fact that his friend isn't actually human that Kou's received in a while. If it weren't for the clear unhappiness written across his face, the wobble of his lips and the shine in his eyes, he might remind Kou a little of Tsukasa.
“You're hungry,” he says faintly. “Actually hungry, not sushi hungry.”
Mitsuba exhales uneasily and lays his head down on the table. “No shit, genius."

Mitsuba comes to see Kou late at night for seemingly no real reason at all. Kou wants to find out why, but is incapable of saying no to his friend's every ridiculous wish along the way.Series
