Summary
A year after the rift tore through the town, Will is trying to piece together a normal life, living with the Wheelers and pretending he fits in. But a chilling presence has followed him from the Upside Down, a voice that slithers into his mind, feeding on his isolation, insecurities and his deepest, most hidden secret.
As the voice in his head grows louder, so do the feelings for Mike, that he's fought so hard to suppress. And now the pure innocent adoration that he's always felt for Mike is changing, morphing into something he doesn't understand and is afraid to name.

Summary
“Will,” Chance said, warm breath fanning against his lips. Not Byers. Will. “I don’t—I don’t know how I’m supposed to act around you. You make me feel so…I don’t understand what’s happening to me.”
Will released a shaky exhale, overwhelmed and hot all over. “I’m—I’m sorry, I—”
“Don’t,” Chance choked out, pressing their foreheads together. “Don’t say anything, or I’ll—fuck, I don’t even know. Just…tell me to stop.” Then quieter: “Please, or I’m going to do something insane.”
The summer of ‘87 was an eventful one, to say the least.
(or: Will starts up a secret relationship with one of Hawkins High’s star benchwarmers, feat. Sattler's quarry, crop tops, screwdrivers, and ‘60s music.)
