“So, I could point out someone in this bar right now, and you’d be able to make them fall in love with you in ten days?” Jaemin says, leaning forward as a predatory smile grows on his face.
“Yeah,” Jisung says, gritting his teeth and only slightly wanting to die. Why was he always getting himself into situations?
“That guy,” Jaemin says, pointing, and Jisung turns to look.
Even in the low-lighting of the bar, it's obvious that the man Jaemin's pointed out is stunning. High cheekbones, bright eyes, his hair falling over his forehead in a soft wave.
Oh, Christ. Jisung's fucked.
(Or; Park Jisung is the perpetual seventh-wheel in his group of friends – which doesn't usually bother him, except for the fact that they all see him as someone who wouldn’t know romance if it hit him in the face. Jisung's determined to prove them wrong, but considering his awful track record with romance, doesn't actually think he'll succeed.)

Summary
Saint showed up in Shin’s life when he was the loneliest he'd ever been. After an incident Shin would rather not recount, Saint disappears from his life without a warning. Five years later, they are reunited again but things are not as they were when they were teenagers.

With Saint by his side all day long, what was there for him to dream about?

Summary
In middle school, there isn’t much more to Saint than the anger bubbling under his skin, like a volcano about to erupt at the slightest provocation. He’s angry at many different things: his father and the empty bottles that stack up in the kitchen’s corners, the rickety food stand and the meager amount of everyday earnings in the money bowl, the debt collectors and the mess they make out of their house, the teachers at their school and their droning voices, his fellow classmates and their too-bright lives.
But through all of the turbulence of Saint’s youth, Shin is right by his side.
Shin is everything that is good and right in the world, his anchor and his guiding star. His closest, most important person. His best friend.
