Summary
After losing to Juliana once more at the mouth of the Dreaded Den, Kieran discovers the most painful part about the loss isn't losing custody of Ogerpon for good, but the realisation that he'll never match up to the heroine of the story, especially not in his current sorry state.
But given the choice, why accept your place as the plot's punching bag when you can estrange those around you, become the Champion of the League, and become a terrible person overall, just so you can be on equal footing with the girl you definitely don't have feelings for?
It'll all be worth it in the end... right?
