“Xiao Yuan, Gege! I’m home! I’m so hungry!” Lili cries, shuffling her way up the stairs with a faux sob. “San Pang and I had our lunch like twelve hours ago and I‘ve only eaten shrimp crisps since.”
“Ah…” Xiao Yuan starts, not quite sure what to do. Wei Qian gazes back at him, seemingly with the same thoughts. Lili’s halfway up the stairs when Yuan panics into movement, jumping off of Wei Qian and grabbing his shirt from the floor. Qian is a little slower to move, not sure where his top’s gone, and opts to cover up with his navy duvet. Lili’s at the top step when Xiao Yuan rushes to the doorway, an all too lopsided grin plastered across his face.

Qian sighed, his anger dissipating as he took in the sight of Yuan, swaying slightly on his feet.
"You're drunk, Yuan."
Yuan grinned sheepishly. "Just a little."
Qian shook his head, a wry smile tugging at his lips. "Come on, let's get you to bed."
As Qian guided Yuan to the bedroom, his jealousy mingled with a different emotion altogether. He couldn't deny the flutter of desire that stirred within him as he watched Yuan stumble against his side and mumble apologies.
