Summary
A hundred-year sleep and a complete loss of memory aren’t enough to keep Link from finishing the job he’d left undone. The Calamity is sealed. The worst is over. They’ve even managed to come out of this ordeal without grievous injury, Link and the princess both—even Ganondorf, whose survival should have been impossible.
They’re here now, though, and safe. But as Link very quickly comes to understand, safe doesn’t necessarily mean whole.
His head’s a jumbled up mess these days, but he’s determined to push through it all the same, to figure out this whole After situation. It’s just, getting swept up in Ganon’s very intense presence isn’t really conducive to him thinking straight…
Because the thing is, no matter how hard Link had laughed earlier, no matter how relieved he is that this whole mess is finally over, he still hasn’t shaken that itch in the back of his mind. The hole in his memories is still there, demanding his attention as much as it ever has. The hurry voice isn’t gone. It’s only changed, urging him now to remember instead.

Summary
Vah Naboris is all that stands between Link and his final showdown with the Calamity, and at long last, he’s found a way into Gerudo Town. It just involves posing as his own great-something-granddaughter, the plucky little heroine intent on finishing what her ancestor, the fallen Hylian Champion, had started.
And lucky for him, King Ganondorf believes it.
Now he just has to survive his last Divine Beast, and he’s set. … Well. He supposes also has to survive the charming, attractive Gerudo king’s (very welcome) attentions without blowing his own cover, but surely he can manage that, too, right?
(So, yeah. He’s fucked.)
As much as he’d like to, he hasn’t forgotten that he can’t let Ganon get too close. But then again, Ganon would have to get much closer than just a kiss to figure him out, right…?

Summary
The return of the Calamity has been foretold. And while the peoples of Hyrule are united in their preparations to oppose it, there are some who believe the current king of the Gerudo would best be kept under watchful eyes, if for no other reason than his name.
Fearing for his people’s wellbeing if he doesn’t comply, and all too familiar with the legends of his ancient predecessors, Ganon willingly places himself in Hylian protective custody until the threat of the Calamity has passed. He’s resigned to a lonely, unpleasant stay at Hyrule Castle, until he meets the Hylian royal guard assigned to protect him.
Sir Link surpasses his every expectation from day one, fiercely loyal and courageous to a fault, uncaring of the suspicions that surround Ganon—not to mention incredibly charming. But as they grow closer, Ganon can’t help but wonder if their fates will tear them apart again before this is all over.
“You should see royal guard training.”
Link gives him a cheeky grin that takes his already pretty face and makes it downright stunning, bruises and all. Ganon finds himself smiling back, even while he wonders what on earth the Hylians put their finest knights through.

Summary
Ganon, king of the Gerudo, has a knack for always getting what he wants, even if he has to wait for it. So when he meets the Hylian Champion and is immediately smitten, he knows it's only a matter of time before he finds a way to crack Link's perfect, unshakable composure.
He's prepared to wait as long as it takes to make Link his, but it quickly becomes apparent that Link is much more than he bargained for.
The slightest slip of that mask would be enough for a first step, even just a small furrow of his brow—or better yet, an interested upturn at the corner of that lovely mouth… It may take several days of concentrated effort just to hear his voice if what Zelda has said of him is accurate, but Ganon is here for at least a month. And despite Urbosa’s earlier suggestion that he could learn to be more patient, he’s already mentally preparing himself for a long, careful pursuit. The wait will only make it that much sweeter once Link is finally his, however many days or weeks it takes. And, after all, he does so love a challenge.

Summary
Thor’s uncle is inexplicable in every way, from his mysterious disappearance years ago to his sudden, miraculous return, the fact that he doesn’t seem to have aged at all in that time, the strange ‘illness’ that causes him to sleep through the day and only wake once the sun has set… and the incredibly inappropriate effect his presence has had on Thor himself.
“Is there anything I might do to help?”
Loki caught his eyes, gaze intense and almost hungry, but then it passed just as quickly, so quickly that Thor wondered if he had just imagined it. “No, I don’t think there is,” he said, offering Thor a tired, half-smile. “But I’ll not have you fussing over me either, understood?”
“I don’t like to make promises I can’t keep,” Thor replied, and Loki’s half-smile turned full, exposing a pair of startlingly sharp-looking eyeteeth.
But more importantly, it also turned nearly blinding in its loveliness, so much so that Thor felt himself flush, and his heart seemed to skip a beat, only to make up for its lapse by pounding against his ribs.

Thor has found the love of his life. He’s called Loptr, and he’s lovely, and… well, that’s all Thor knows about him, aside from the fact that he likes to turn up when Thor least expects him. But Thor is in love with him, and really, that’s the only thing that matters.
Until he finds out who his lovely Loptr actually is, anyway.
Thor wonders who else has noticed a change in him, which is a thrilling thought—that Loptr and the love he bears for him could affect him enough for others to see. But he also wonders how he might explain the situation to someone when he’s able, because saying, ‘I’m in love with someone and that’s all I know for certain about him,’ doesn’t quite explain anything, after all.

A What If...? take on the Uncle Loki series. An AU of the AU, if you will, wherein Thor never made the move on his uncle as a teenager, and we see how it might have played out between them ten years later instead.
This is all building to something, and if Thor stops and thinks about it too long, it might completely unravel. Maybe it should. But that’s not what he wants.
So when a natural lull in the conversation coincides with both of them finishing their drinks at the same time, Thor thinks about being eighteen and horny and reckless, and the day he very nearly did something about whatever this is between him and his uncle… and he makes a decision.
“My hotel’s about a five minute walk from here,” he says. “Come back with me?”

Loki has plenty of time before this trip to go back and forth between extreme, intense regret, and a cavalier sort of confidence that everything will be fine. Because, after all, if he’s been capable of keeping his feelings to himself for almost twenty years now, even through the unfortunate hormones of his teenage years spent in close quarters with the object of his affections, surely he can handle a few days and some slightly closer than usual contact.
Surely.
He’s on a confident upswing while he waits in line at the rental car counter at the airport, almost looking forward to the challenge ahead even, when two very large arms suddenly snake around his middle from behind, and a chin drops onto his shoulder.
The swing back to extreme, intense regret is swift.

Summer 1986. Thor has been stupidly in love with his little brother for as long as he can remember, but despite every indication that Loki is into him, too, he’s too afraid of, you know, ruining their entire lives to say or do anything about it. But then a beach vacation the summer before he leaves for college forces the two of them into close quarters (and onto one way-too-small sofa bed), and Thor starts to realize that his usual coping methods of Ignoring and/or Avoiding those unspoken feelings aren’t going to work much longer.
Loki is walking by himself in the surf, carrying his sandals and the bag he’s been keeping his sunscreen and wallet and towel and like three bags of candy in all week, and Thor almost physically aches to see him. His dark hair is gold-tinged from the sunset, all curly and wild like he got it wet swimming and let it dry in the breeze… Thor wants to dig his fingers into it, fluff it up like he’s done a million times in the halls at school when he wants to bug him, but he also wants to leave his hands in it and tilt Loki’s chin up so he can kiss him, taste the saltwater on his skin. He knows how soft those curls are already, but he still wants to find out about his lips.

It’s dark by the time they pull up in front of the cabin, but there are garden lights in the snow along the path up to the front door and a lamp on in one of the front windows. It’s small and cozy-looking, and once Thor climbs out of the car and stretches his legs, his stomach starts doing some interesting things… because this is all theirs, all weekend. No interruptions, no worrying about running back home before he’s late, or who he’s got to explain himself to when he gets there… This is big.

A short trip to Vanaheim at the height of its summer has Loki ready to write the realm off entirely. But things become much more interesting when he runs into his old childhood friend and husband-to-be after several centuries and finds that he's grown quite a lot.
“I could take you there, if you like.”
Loki wonders if that’s all that Thor has in mind… and then wonders if he’d really object if it isn’t. Either way, the opportunity to cool off for at least a little while is too tempting to resist, so he nods and says, “By all means, thank you.”
(And he decides that perhaps he can keep an open mind about other opportunities.)

Surely a well-endowed Jotunn prince who’s smart and experienced and makes him laugh (and kisses like he could eat Thor whole) could make for a perfectly adequate consort even without something more between them.
(And who’s to say it couldn’t eventually turn into something more? … Who’s to say it isn’t on its way already…?)

Loki’s flight back home leaves tomorrow at noon, and with nothing better to do this evening, he settles in at the bar of his hotel in Stockholm.
Halfway through his second drink, he realizes that he’s looked at his phone about ten times since he sat down. Not to check email or his flight status or see if his Skype meeting request for next week has been approved—to see if Thor has messaged him.

Uncle Loki Part 4, in which there are cliche teenagey things, like prom, backseat goings-on, and of course, feelings.
Thor’s fine. It’s his mess and his problem, so he’s just going to keep a lid on it and not set himself up for a conversation that includes the phrase It may be best if we stop this, Thor and a pitying look. That would be worse than anything, worse than keeping it to himself and just coping with the whole unrequited love thing.
So that’s what he’s doing on this bland Sunday morning. Coping. And if coping involves not going anywhere and ignoring Fandral and Sif’s texts and telling his mom that he’s skipping the senior prom next week and generally doing nothing at all apart from pouting, then that’s just the price he’s gotta pay.
Because I had to fucking fall in love with my uncle, Thor thinks to himself, just to drive home how ridiculous it sounds, and flops backward on his bed.

Part 3 of the Uncle Loki Saga, wherein Thor starts to question just how one-sided this Thing is.
He’s never totally at ease when they do this; it’s too difficult to be completely calm with Loki in his space, knowing what Loki can do to him with only minimal effort, and there’s always that little nervous thrum of anticipation just under his skin. But today it’s... well, different, and Thor can’t quite put his finger on how he feels about it. Not bad, definitely not bad. He just feels as awkward as he had the first time around, unsure of what to do with himself.
