Summary
It was some sort of plant. It had leaves and stems and all the usual business that adorned a plan, but the main attraction was the flower that sat front and center. It was nothing but a bud at first. Closed tightly, like a mouth around a bone, it did nothing but sway back and forth when Erik prodded it with the tips of his fingers.
He should have known better by now.
