“Mr. Wilkie said you a first year teacher,” Fezco says as he unbuckles the oxygen tank and drops the thing with a thud on the ground. He’s quick to strip down to a more basic layer, his heavy jacket coming off his shoulders to expose impressive biceps in the tight department tee he wears while his suspenders fit snugly over his defined chest. “No doubt someone filled you in on last year with Mrs. Rockwell?”
“I've been told it was a minor disaster,” Lexi replies with a laugh. “I’m just glad they didn’t scare you off, Mister O’Neill.”
He grins and his eyes crinkle up in the process. Lexi wants to melt. “Ain’t gettin’ rid of me that easily, Miss Howard. How ‘bout we go meet this class of yours?”
Jesus Christ she’d been so distracted by this good looking man she’d nearly forgotten she had a class full of five and six year olds to attend to.
