Summary
Scylla's family is moving through the Cession and settle in Chippewa in the Fall of her senior year of high school. It is here that she meets Raelle Collar. The two form an unlikely friendship, that blossoms into a beautiful young romance. However, everything implodes when Scylla's parent's are murdered by the army.
Two years later, the girls meet again at Fort Salem, but this time everything has changed.
AKA, season one rewrite where Scylla and Raelle knew each other before Fort Salem, and this time, Scylla tells Raelle the truth.

Summary

She has distanced herself from friends and family isolating in her New York apartment, which her father is paying for since she is unemployed. The loss has completely shattered her heart, leaving her fragile. Books and music are now the only two things in her life that she hasn’t shut out. Until one night, when her friends manage to coax her out of the apartment to a bar right down the street. There, she lays eyes on someone.

Summary
Set in our modern world, Raelle and Scylla are emotionally "broken" in their own ways because of their (almost canon) past and coping in their own ways. Raelle seems quiet and intimidating from the outside, but she's just a lone wolf. Scylla is living like a Dodger and has many different sides that make her confusing. Their trusty old defense mechanisms don't work with each other. It's a mess.
edit: this summary is useless. if you're interested, please just try until chapter 5 (20k words) and throw it away if you still don't like it <3

Summary
The tide rolled in as gently as the soft worn green flannel that draped loosely over Scylla’s shoulders, unbuttoned and rippling lightly against her breasts as the fresh ocean breeze danced around the few loose strands of hair that had fallen from the lazily tied up pile on the top of her head to gracefully frame her pale face. The sun was just starting to peek out over the horizon. The first strokes of mother nature’s paintbrush began to swipe tantalizing streaks of orange and pink to swirl with the blanket of blue. One or two clouds floated aimlessly through the awakening sky. White and fluffy, they were merely pillows for the goddess to rest her head on once she finished her morning masterpiece.
She could smell the sea as the tide rolled back out, leaving behind darkening sand that beckoned the water to come back once more. She breathed it in. Savored it. Let it settle into her lungs and fill her soul. The tinge of salt. The taste of freedom. The bite of the unknown. The tickle of the future.
The trace of hope.
She never felt safer or freer than when she was at the lighthouse. This lighthouse.
(Takes place Season 3, Episode 9 when Raylla are at the lighthouse)
