Summary
During a solo outing at the pub in 2002, Murdoc is suddenly approached by a strangely acting and outrageously dressed 2-D who claims he’s arrived from the future, which is only about the 4th weirdest thing to happen to him thus far. Better yet, rather than warning him about anything major, trying to affect the flow of the time-space continuum, or at the very least sharing the winning lotto numbers, this 2-D seems to have come with one goal and one goal only. Oh well, the boy was always a bit simple... which doesn’t make dealing with him any more simple, though.
AKA 2002 ego-tripping Murdoc meets 2018 ego-tripping 2-D. Personality clash. Emotional baggage. Ends in bed. Or, well. The floor.

Despite their differences, Murdoc and Stuart do at least have one thing working for them in bed: Stuart wants to be seen and desired, and Murdoc is more than willing to deliver.

Summary
"He recognizes the honor he has of witnessing this. The ascension of this young god. This boy who against all odds is still alive despite the heavy trauma to his face and the blood lost to the rain, slowly diluting as it spreads across gravel and sinks into the pavement.
Murdoc feels shame squeeze his insides at his previous derisive treatment of his charge. It seems the deadweight boy he’s been dragging around for weeks has been hiding this holy presence behind his one closed eye. He knows he’ll have to repent. He looks forward to it."

Murdoc realizes just how glorious his singer 2D is the moment he wakes from his coma, and worships him accordingly through each phase (0-7).

Summary
They’ve been doing this for a few years now, ever since 2D woke up out of that goddamn coma and went from being Murdoc’s community service project to being the shining star at the center of Murdoc’s new band. A real band, a band that’s going places. They haven’t put out an album yet but they’re getting there, and it’s gonna be a good one. It’s gonna be the real thing. Glitz and glam and stardom. Murdoc can feel it thrumming in the room every time the four of them record together, and he swears he can feel it here, too, with his fingers inside of 2D and his singer making breathy little moans under him. Even here, 2D has star potential, and that potential belongs to Murdoc. He found him, he moulded him, on stage and in the bedroom.
(Murdoc thinks about his life and his relationship with 2D, from 2000 to 2025. A little bit sappy, a little bit fucked up, a little bit depressing and a little bit sweet.)

Summary
Noodle made a lot of promises to herself when she was younger. To not turn out like Murdoc. To never be a burden on Russel. To be strong enough to not need help, and stronger still to ask for help when she very occasionally needed it. And then there was one more promise, the most important one of all. The one that would form a keystone of purpose in her life. The one she'd nearly broken numerous times. The one that was about to break for good.
