    “So beautiful,” Lan Xichen mused from behind, making Jiang Cheng shiver once more. “I could spend hours just looking at you, Wanyin. Do you have any idea just how stunning you are?”

    “Shut up,” Jiang Cheng snapped, but the words lacked any heat at all. They sounded far whinier than he’d liked, like he was already facing the torment of teasing that he knew Lan Xichen was about to give.

    “I don’t think you want me to,” Lan Xichen continued. “I think you enjoy being called pretty.”

    “I - “ Jiang Cheng choked, attempting to squirm or move but having no leverage to. Lan Xichen’s grip was too strong. “I don’t care!” he settled on, still wriggling to no success.

    “No? Then, you won’t mind if I keep telling you, hm?”

    “Do your worst,” Jiang Cheng huffed.
