She wasn’t sure how it happened. It just did. She was immortal. She’s been struggling with the idea all summer, and she is finally getting used to the idea that she achieved what Voldemort never did. She could not be killed. Well, at least not easily. It was silly really to think that something Voldemort had been trying to achieve for his entire life, she got without even asking for it, without even wanting it. Still, it was beyond her choice unless she wanted to die and leave the plane of the living, so she is thankful at the least. It all happened so fast, and if anyone asked her how she became a vampire at 18 years old, she wouldn’t have a clear answer other than the fact that it is a blessing and a curse at the same time.
