Childe’s head spun as he registered the words in his brain. “You’re gay?”
Silence. There were the brief sounds of microphone static as he waited for Scaramouche to speak. “Don’t tell me you’re fucking homophobic, or some shit.”
“No, no– fuck,” Childe collected himself. “I like guys too. I mean, shit, I’m playing Roblox right now, man, isn’t it obvious?”
Scaramouche laughed lightly, and Childe felt immediately better after hearing the noise. “True.”

Summary
Scaramouche didn't know much about sexuality when he was younger, but he knew that Childe's golden-orange hair and his smile gave him a radiance similar to sunlight, and left him burned into memory like searing fire. He walked into Scaramouche's life as quick as sunrise and left just like sunset.
He's the sun in Scaramouche's universe, and Scara just so happens to have a vitamin D deficiency.
