White flakes are still falling in little flurries around them; Feng Xin’s dark hair is artfully speckled with them. Snowflakes are on his lashes, too, glittering in the faint sunlight like tiny diamonds as he blinks.
Mu Qing tears his gaze away. “Whatever,” he says, but he really means yes, Honeydukes, anywhere, let’s go.

“Hey, Kaoru,” Kojiro says, interrupting Kaoru’s current train of thought.
“What do you want, oaf?” Kaoru asks, irritated.
