Summary
The Ice Kingdom has been in shambles ever since a grave, unknown curse was placed on the Ice Prince. On the eve of every new year, each of the six provinces of the Ice Kingdom must send one man to the Ice Palace to break the curse placed upon the Ice Prince.
None of those selected have ever been seen again, and over the years, selection has become synonymous with certain death.
On the 100th year of the curse, Park Jimin of Province Five is selected.

“Tae...?” Jimin softly mumbled, his voice laced with a hint of concern. Taehyung turned to find large eyes looking up at him that held more worry in them than his voice did. Their friends always joked about how Jungkook had the most dangerous innocence in his eyes but Taehyung had to think that they had never been on the receiving end of Jimin’s heart-breaking puppy dog stare. “Did you really mean that..?”
Taehyung knew exactly what he was talking about and Jimin was clearly aware that he would know too because he didn’t bother expanding on his words. Still, he tried to act aloof. “Really mean what?”
Jimin sighed and pouted. “What you said at the bonfire the other night.” He explained. “You really want to die from the Hanahaki disease?”

Yoongi’s smile widened, a teasing glint in his eyes as he propped his elbow up on the edge of the bar, chin resting on his palm. “Butterbeer.”

Yoongi wasn't expecting this.
He heard stories of Gumihos, of horrible and cruel demons that craved blood, who looked half human and half foxes, bloody creatures who appeared as cunning as they were. But from where Yoongi is standing, all he can see is a young man.
He can't be much younger than him and—and there's nothing cruel to him. The third floor is high and Yoongi can't really see him well, but he knows that there is nothing horrible about his features, nothing that could have him thinking that the young man is a fox.

For a second, the dragon looks as though it's going to bump its head against Jimin’s palm, giving him the chance to graze his fingers over its glinting scales.
But then the second is over, and the dragon snorts instead, warm smoke coming out of its nostrils and blowing Jimin’s hair back. Then it turns around and goes back into its cave, leaving Jimin standing there and feeling like an idiot.
Taehyung appears by his shoulder seconds later, whistling lowly. “Well, that didn’t work. No worries though, Jimin! I’m going to find another way to get my necklace back. Sorry for dragging you all the way out here.”
Jimin says, “It laughed at me.”
Taehyung blinks. “What?”
“Taehyung, that dragon bastard laughed at me.”
[or: taehyung asks jimin to help him get his necklace back from a dragon. it gets personal.]
