There is a love story in between the smell of somnacin and the burn of the bullets. Perhaps if he is a more romantic man, Jiang Cheng would not be so bitter. But, as yet another job ends with a wraith wearing Wei Wuxian’s face shooting him just to watch him scream, he had never hated being a pawn in another’s love story so much.
