Summary
Shinazugawa tightened his grip when Giyuu tried to pull away. With gritted teeth, he added, "Do dumb shit like this again and you’re dead, you hear me? I'll kill you." He released Giyuu's wrist with a huff and trudged off.
Giyuu blinked dumbly at the statement. It sounded like a threat, but it conveyed something else. After a pause, he opened his mouth to speak. "I won't."
I wanted to focus on Giyuu's character and his struggle with survivor's guilt. Rated mature for graphic depictions of suicide and mentions of self-harm. Not relationship-centric but I will include Sanemi/Giyuu, Mitsuri/Obanai, Tengen and his wives (and kyoujurou implied lol), and Shinobu w an oc. OC (Okuzaki Moriko) is meant as a mirror to Giyuu's struggles, for context she is the wood hashira, 19yo.
