Summary
“I have an idea. Do you remember when we were younger and would pretend to be each other? We've managed to fool our parents more than once.”
Adrien hummed, unsure where Felix was going.
“Why don't I go there and deliver the present disguised as you? Your friends get to see you, and you get to rest like you deserve to. I'd hate to see you suffer just for this, Adrien.” Felix looked sad.
Adrien thought it over. Could he really do that? Let Felix pretend to be him for a few hours?
“That's crazy.” He could only say.
“Is it? No one would know. You just need to introduce me to your friends, and I'll make it work for you.” Felix assured.

Summary
“We could stay like this forever, you know,” she hums, answering the question he did not dare ask. “Every day could be just like this one.”
“Are you sure? You've had relapses before.” Mum looks sad, which makes Adrien sad in turn; he should know better than to question her. “I just don't want to be alone.”
“You won't. My precious boy, you won't.” She tilts his chin up with long, diaphanous fingers. “Isn't this what you want? Tell me this is what you want.”

Summary
“Did he suffer? Gabriel Agreste, I mean.”
“Chat Noir,” this is the part in which she becomes stern, almost closed off. “Gabriel Agreste just - he was hit - by magic. There was a bright light and then he was just - gone. As I’ve already told you. Stop thinking about it so much. He didn't suffer, okay? I swear. And there was nothing you could've done to… to stop it from happening.”
But he could have taken it - would have taken it. And perhaps even survive, too.
“Milady,” he whispers; this is the part in which he feels it, stronger than usual, this distance between them growing bigger. Bigger. Bigger. Until it's pushing him against the opposite wall; until he can't breathe.
It's claustrophobic.
