Summary
Wonwoo remembers the fuss when Kim Mingyu was hired, everyone speculating about what he would be like. Would he be handsome? That was Miss Kang’s top priority. Polite? Well, Mr. Lee had zero tolerance for disrespect. Quiet? That one was Wonwoo’s biggest concern.
When Mingyu finally arrived at the company, he was ridiculously handsome, enough for Miss Kang to start fantasizing about their wedding immediately. Polite to the point of charming the entire office, and as loud as a hyperactive puppy. The stereotypical charming alpha, everyone adored him.
Everyone except Jeon Wonwoo, of course.

“We really should…” a voice cuts through the night, coming from behind him. “Stop meeting like this.”
Wonwoo doesn’t need to look. He’s suited up, mask on, legs dangling off the ledge of a high-rise, the wind bites at his face where the fabric doesn’t cover, the city sprawls beneath like a terminal patient hooked to neon lights. Who else would climb this high just to find him?

Then finally, Mingyu almost rushed to the prince. He knelt before him, his knees pressing into the floor just between Wonwoo’s feet, his gaze lifting to meet his.
“You did very well today,” Wonwoo said again, leaning forward to grab Mingyu's face. “Very well.”
