Yuuji loves Megumi’s face.
Yuuji’s favourite thing to do is to trace his fingers over the scars on Megumi’s face. There is never a night where Yuuji doesn’t place a kiss on every individual scar before they go to bed. Even when Megumi looks in the mirror and gets reminded of the horrors he has endured, his thoughts always seem to dissipate when his boyfriend looks into the same mirror and smiles instead.
With the two of them utterly exhausted, Megumi discovers the love Yuuji has had for the scars on his face all this time only grew stronger for the scars on his body. Even when they are harsh reminders of brutal fights from the past, they only seem to pull Yuuji in even more.

Unable to form words, it seems, Megumi croaks out—

An AU where Megumi and Yuuji find their way back to each other, months after college, in Tokyo. Whether it is in London where Megumi spends his time running away from a feeling he is too afraid to name, or if it is in Paris where Yuuji goes to just forget about it all; their time spent back in Tokyo is enough to change everything.

Summary
It’s in the middle of scanning the last bottle of green tea that Itadori properly looks up. Eye contact with him is a physical, unexpected shock, a crunch of imaginary static snapping through Megumi and leaving his hands twitching at his sides.
"Hey." Itadori blinks, wide and earnest. "Do I know you from somewhere?"
The tea sloshes backwards in the bottle he’s holding. Megumi focuses on this until his vision steadies.
"No," he says. "I don’t think so."
In the aftermath, Itadori loses his memories instead of his life. Megumi grieves nonetheless.
