    When he gets Reaped for the 74th Hunger Games, no one volunteers for Jeno.
    District 7 does not talk about Lee Jeno. You do not talk about ill luck if you want to keep the ill luck away from you. You do not talk to him or about him, you just stare as he gets on stage with dozens of cameras now forever watching his every move until he either dies in the arena or comes out victorious.
    Jeno doesn’t know which would be worse.
    Cue Na Jaemin, a mentor with secrets of his own, the one who not only watched Jeno but actually saw him and currently Jeno's best chance at staying alive in a game rigged to make them both lose.

    Or, in which Lee Jeno has given up on living before he is even Reaped and Na Jaemin tries to bring his heart back to life.

    Jaemin died at an early age as he was suffering from leukemia. His boyfriend, Jeno, was having a hard time moving on from his boyfriend's loss. One year since Jaemin's burial and Jeno is doing better little by little, he got a message from Jaemin and thought their friends were playing a prank on him. But the contact knows everything he and Jaemin only knew. It was hard to believe but as he kept talking with his past lover, he felt his feelings coming back.
