    Eddie spent most of his life uncomfortable in his skin.

    Maybe part of that was being a gay kid in Texas in the 90s. Maybe part of that was being too white for his Mexican cousins and not white enough for the patrol officers. Maybe part of that was being autistic and feeling like a molting snake in a terrarium, surrounded on all sides by grubby little human hands tap tap tapping on the glass.
