Summary
It was hard for Ace to believed that his father is Gol D. Roger — the man who left a mark to the world and a scar on Ace's life to be his son. He was made to believe that he was nothing but a curse, with a cursed man's blood running in him and his birth was nothing but a mistake that should be wiped out of existance.
It was harder for Ace to believe that the said dead father of his suddenly return into his life when he was ten.
The same person people would label as a monster, who showered him with love and cherished him like a gem.
His father, Gol D. Roger.

Or rather than growing up to loathe his father, Ace grew up with a loving (yet overbearing) father he deserved.
