Having grown accustomed to the nightly indulgences in wine and dancing, Feyre is surprised when she learns there’s no revelry and is brought to Rhysand’s chambers instead. No matter; theres plenty of wine and it’s much more comfortable than her cell.
The only problem is that she’s technically not allowed to be there. She and Rhysand improvise to circumvent the guards’ prying eyes—and they find their banter and tension come to a head.

Set in ACOMAF. An alternate telling of the events following the infamous night at the inn.
The morning after their night together at the inn, Rhys and Feyre are flying to their next destination. Their plans go awry when ash arrows appear out of nowhere and hit Feyre, rather than Rhys. She wakes some time later, then proceeds to put Rhys in an impossible situation when the very tonic that saved her life sends her into a heat that she insists can only be helped by him.
He really regrets not having told her they were mates the night before.
