Beomgyu leans over the edge; forty-thousand feet above sea level, there is nothing to see beyond the plush bed of the clouds, and the expanse of the sky. Here, the world is small and he almost finds his place in it.
Inhale.
The gold stains swallow up the stars, one by one, and illuminates the edges of the idyllic clouds. It’s pretty–the way the sky changes into a softer version of itself, the blue tinting pink, the warmth starting to overshadow the cool tickle of the soft breeze against Beomgyu’s cheeks. A strand of his hair brushes along his nose, caught in the gentle gust. Beomgyu closes his eyes.
Exhale.
Beomgyu hops off the edge of heaven.

Two forevers ago, it had been Beomgyu and Yeonjun, intertwined and separate but whole. Beomgyu and Yeonjun that came and went as the heavens saw fit, Beomgyu and Yeonjun that rose together and slept together, and were so intertwined they even dreamt together.
Now, it was Beomgyu, the weight of his guilt, and the bodies of dead angels piling up around him as he tried, desperately, not to let Yeonjun slip away from him again.

“Ngh–!?” Yeonjun whimpered. His feet skidded against the floor, fighting it on instinct. Soobin kept pushing in. “You??--!” Yeonjun began in dismay. His voice was sloppy, slurred, lips all wet and raw. He couldn't say anymore.
Soobin thrust in a few times, shallow, trying to make room. It was so tight. Yeonjun looked at him through dazed eyes. Soobin’s face was flush, sweat beading at his temple, boyish, melting away. That amber scent mixed with the smell of his sweat. Way too sexy. Yeonjun blushed. No way someone like that was gonna fuck him.
They didn’t even know each other.
