Summary
N'Jadaka is controlling and excessively sarcastic. Although T'Challa likes this side of him, he can only take so much. He wants N'Jadaka to step up and mate with him already so they can have children and rule Wakanda together. Unfortunately, N'Jadaka is slow to the uptake and it irritates T'Challa enormously.

Summary
They don’t kill each other at the end. Erik was better with his hands, T’Challa better with his claws. That was the problem. They brawled in the dark until the war above them resolved itself, and then what were they meant to do? Erik had started it, the ceasefire. He hadn’t meant to. He’d laughed, because all the bitterness and hatred and frustration in him had boiled to a point where there was nothing left to do but laugh.
“Now what?” Erik asked, days after and not for the first time. They were miles from Wakanda, walking.

Summary
T’Challa locks eyes with N’Jadaka as N’Jadaka shouts out, “Siziyagquma!” and the rest of his tribe erupt in a fierce echo of his yell.
N’Yami, head of the Lioness’s followers, watches T’Challa, her gold-studded face impersonal, but then she has never been particularly familiar with him.
“The tribe of Sekhmet,” she says in her low, smoky voice, “will challenge for the throne today.”
