“Hm,” she hummed. “Vi.”
“Vi?”
“My name.”
Caitlyn liked her name. It matched her face.
Pretty.
“Ah.”
Short-lived silence ensued before her scarred lips parted yet again.
“This is the part you tell me yours.”
Caitlyn hesitated, but her face moved before she could stop it.
“Caitlyn.”
“Hm. That fits.”

Caitlyn was left with no one else to sit with but Vi, school’s top Rugby player and apparently the most annoying table mate ever.
Except, she’s not annoying, Caitlyn learned, but her best friend has trouble accepting that Caitlyn thinks so.
But Caitlyn and Vi get inevitably closer, boundaries are pushed, words were said, and now they have to figure out just what they were supposed to be.

“Jinx,” She blurted out once more, finally making eye contact with her sister, her younger sister, her best friend. She wanted to cry, but trembling lips and bloodshot eyes strained back tears like a broken dam. “You’re Jinx now. You’re not the same little girl I grew up with anymore. I heard you, Jinx. And I still … I still love you …”
There it was. No longer angry, just sad, pleading eyes looking back up at her.
Then Vi wasn’t sure what happened. Cold metal pressed harshly against her forehead before she could even process the look on Jinx’s face.
Jinx fired the hextech core into the council room, injuring or even killing everyone inside. But fuck, Vi was still her sister whether Jinx liked it or not.
But Vi needs a home, too. Somewhere to belong. Not that she would ever abandon her sister, but she knew deep down taking her back would have never only taken a day.
Caitlyn was always waiting with open arms.

“Really? That’s how you ask? No subtlety in it?”
“Uh, yeah? I saved you from getting shanked in the shower, so fair’s fair. What’s your deal, topside?”
“Caitlyn,” she says. That isn’t right. That wasn’t the answer Vi was after. Names are easily given away but so seldomly remembered in Stillwater, but it echoes in Vi’s head. She almost doesn’t hear the actual answer. “And though I have no doubt a thousand people have given this answer before, I did nothing. I was doing my job, and then I was here. No trial. No sentencing. No crime to speak of.”

I came up with the idea of how Woody would be if he lost his memory like Buzz when he gets switched to Demo Mode... and came out with this short story that was honestly made for fluff and just good feelings and smiles and a lot of innocent Woody cussing like a sailor. -
