Jake knew he could push the older man off, easily. He used to do these drills all the time at the Academy, and his dad wasn’t exactly a super fit perp caught doing a B&E.

If Holt thought he was hurt, of course he would drop everything. He was going to rush over and then realize that Jake was fine, and then he was going to be even more angry.
