Summary
Sirius Black isn't impressed with Salem at Halloween. It's too crowded, too touristy, and filled with cheesy, fake magic. That is, until he meets a handsome shop owner (and his bespectacled best friend) who offers to show him and Lily the "real Salem."

very well written, read this as my bedtime story lmaoaoao now i’m dead
i’ve seen this before and skipped over it because i didn’t want any angst, but surprisingly this was very angst light, sirius wasn’t a sook and actually was very nonchalant and i love it
i like how instead of sirius being very sex orientated like he normally is, he’s demiromatic or whatever he is very refreshing -

Bookmarker's Notes
very simple and non-linear description of love. it feels like new beginnings, being lost but so free, like love and life and everything to experience
remus is portrayed so sexy and nonchalant and i just love how he is so confident in himself and sirius is whipped lmaoaoa
love!
( Remus throws a chip into the air, catching it in his open mouth. It shouldn’t be sexy but it is.) it is so bloody sexy i’m picturing it lol -

Summary
Remus is in 5th year. Sirius is in 6th.
Last year, Remus was in 4th year and Sirius was in 5th. The year before that, Remus was... irrelevant. He's not sure Sirius knows he exists.
This year, with a shiny new badge on his chest, Remus Lupin is officially on Sirius' radar. Remus Lupin is officially a pain in Sirius' arse.

omg this is one of my favourite things i’ve ever read
i love love love how realistic the characterisation is because yes sirius is an asshole and yes remus is a loser like yes!!!!!
i love the banter and the fighting, and i love how sirius becomes obsessed with remus but dosent know what way
there’s just something so special about remus in this like he’s obsessed with sirius, and has been for so long, and all his friends know about it, and if that isn’t teenage crush idk what is, like sirius dosent even talk to him and he’s still telling his friends about it lmaoaoa
james in this has a special place in my heart, when he was talking about how he likes remus, and how he’s sweet, was just a beautiful breath of fresh air from sirius, he is the leader, sirius will do as he says and if he puts his foot down sirius will listen, idk but i love their dynamic, he’s calming and a grounding presence for sirius, while still being fun and his best friend
the age gap, even though it’s not much, does something to me and has had me hooked and idk what it is, i think it makes sirius seem more mature, older, wiser, and a lot more sexier, but the way he lets himself be relaxed around remus is so precious
when he said there is nothing you can do to me tha i haven’t already done and like made me feel jealour for remus, but it was lowk erotic idk hahahahhahha
i like how the scene in sirius room stretched for like 3-4 chapters, each one having a different point, the way they got together was good, remus is inexperienced, younger and less bold than sirius, and sirius is willing to teach him and talk him through things, but eventually remus learns how to make sirius feel good or even just learnt the rhythm of what they were doing, and i think there is something precious and intimate about that that i have found repeated or replicated in any other fici think this might be my second favourite fic, as nothing can beat tcoptp, but that’s a category in of its own lol
the writing is also really really good, the way the author write as if out thoughts were cut off and desperate like theirs are, it makes it feel very realistic
and sexy sometimesjust great and so funny and so easy to read i love it
i’ve read this three times and i love it every time it’s so easy to read and so bloody good
truly amazing -

Summary
Tom Riddle was elected Minister of Magic on the 1st February 1967, and three months of wonderful peace had ensued. After that came the regulations, the restrictions. Who could practise magic and who couldn’t. The resistance was beaten into submission, and with no one left to attack, the Death Eaters began to spiral. They had lost any sense of organisation, and began to attack random Muggleborns, and that’s when all the children began to die
Sirius Black never planned on joining the Order, but he’s stepped up to lead what’s left of it. The war has stagnated, and so has Sirius, right up until Regulus shows up on his doorstep, half-dead and spilling Voldemort’s secrets. The key to stopping him lies in destroying the Horcruxes, if they can find them first.
Remus Lupin’s entire existence is a rebellion. As an uneducated werewolf vigilante, he roams London, brimming with a deeper power than most could ever know, ready for a fight. He is everything Riddle is afraid of, and he knows it. The Horcruxes? Yeah, he knows a guy. Why?

wow!!!!!! this is so amazing i devoured it in less that a day
i normally forgo war fics because i cant handle james and lily dying and all the spy drama, but has the perfect amount of canon and noncanon mixed together to create the most rewarding, devastating and entertaining plots
i felt like i was watching a movie, the descriptions are so vivid and the characters are so realistic and personal in a way that is hard to find in fics
i cried, a lot, and i laughed and cringed and smiled and cheered lmaoaoaoao
sirius and remus are so bloody sexy i can’t even deal and the way they are characterised is just perfect
lily is fierce, she is given personality rather than pushed to the side, and james and sirius friendship really shows and is just so realistic i am jealous
this author has such an effective writing style, it is easy to real, comprehensive, and gripping, the words fly by and you don’t even notice the length of the chapters until you’re done with them
this was so well thought out, every detail makes sense, decisions and actions have meanings and the aftermath of the war is more than realistic
i’ve never really thought about the humanity of azkaban before, sorry lmaoaoa it was more like out of sight out of mind, but this explained the horrors and complete lack of human decency and basic rights that are present there
i love that albus is evil and people recognise that instead of shouting him praises and prayers, dorcas being the harry is so funny and perfect lmaoaoa
i cried when marlene died, of all people why herrrr my baby
and the way frank and alice’s realities were woven in is perfect
truly this is a work of art, worth publishing imo, the author is a real talent, beautiful writing, beautiful plot, beautiful pacing, beautiful characters, beautiful everything thank you will reread
