The mornings were always the same at their apartment.
The three of them would settle on their small balcony, sipping on coffee or nursing hangovers, watching the Undercity - or how they had started calling it, Zaun - unfold beneath them. Machines and people stirring awake at the same time, the little light that could break through the mess of pipes hitting their eyes and clearing away whatever remains of sleep were still in their bodies.
But lately, their early morning attention had been drawn to something - or rather, someone - else.“There she is again,” Vander said.
Three friends drawn to a mysterious girl who won't even give them the time of the day.
Friends to (almost) lovers, to enemies, to maybe? lovers.
I will try to adhere to canon lore but of course adding a new character changes everything.
