    Cardan Greenbriar is arrogant, he's beautiful, he has little respect for the house rules and worst of all, he will not stop flirting with her.

    Cardan seems to think Jude needs to relax, and he knows exactly how to help her relieve some tension.

    Excerpt:
    A faint brush against my palm. The gentleness of that touch frightens me, and I dare to break eye contact, glancing briefly at our joined hands. He’s drawing a very soft circle on my palm. The edges of the coin, he’s tracing them.
    Terror sings up my spine. Cardan was looking for a weakness, and he just found it. My mutilated hand is viciously painful, more than I can bear, and he’s going to know. He’ll use it against me.
    I lock eyes with him again. Wickedness is written into every line of his face.
    “Cardan,” I try, “No—”

    After her parents split up, Cordelia moves to London to be closer to her brother Alastair and her long-time internet bff, Lucie. Lucie happens to have a very good-looking brother called James, with whom Cordelia has many things in common with... the issue is, he has a girlfriend.
    James' relationship with Grace is going downhill. She's been ignoring him, and his friends don't really like her. What's he supposed to do?
    Grace's mother insists she stays an Instagram model, and is forcing her to date James as a petty (and useless) revenge against his family. But what Grace really wants is to become a scientist, which she's trying to do in secret... the problem is, James' cousin Christopher has found her out.
    Lucie's life is going great. She's finally bringing to life the play she's worked so hard on, and her best friends are starring in it! But... Jesse Blackthorn has asked to work with her? What?
    Thomas has one big problem in life: he so badly wants to date his work colleague, but it's not something well looked upon in the firm. It doesn't help Alastair just keeps giving him the most unclear signals.
