Summary
A series of firsts in Dean Winchester's life begins on the first day of elementary school when he meets Castiel Novak, the boy who quickly becomes his best friend; but things fell apart for them when the Novak family moves away before the sixth grade. Slowly, Dean realizes he was in love with Cas all along, but he doesn't have any way of contacting him to tell him... until Dean runs into Cas working at the Gas'n'Sip while on a road trip, just a few months before prom.
