It was how the two met; Yoongi was in dire need of a model (the My-Major-Depends-On-This-Project kind of situation) and Taehyung just happened to have a knack for free food and only an acquaintance separating him from the photographer.
See, it was Jimin, Taehyung's friend, who introduced the duo; to this day, he says how much he regrets that he did so- according to him, the couple are "grossly enamoured" (he doesn't actually regret a thing, the pure mochi).
From the day they met, they were inseparable. You couldn't find Yoongi without Taehyung or Taehyung without Yoongi. They didn't exactly change their personalities 180°, but they did adapt them to fit the other. Taehyung knew that for all the tough act Yoongi put on, grumbling when the younger snuggled up to him (even before they started dating- Taehyung had always been Extremely Affectionate™), Yoongi loved having the other close.
