Summary
Why did Castiel decide to accept this job as a roller skating waiter when he didn’t know how to skate? That was a great question, and the answer was mostly Gabriel who had failed to mention that important detail when Castiel applied for the job. Fortunately they decide to give him a chance anyways. Unfortunately, he is nothing short of a wobby newborn deer as he tries to find ways around the 50s themed diner. Which he would have been fine with if a cute green eyed customer didn't just walk right through the door. Now Castiel has to try even harder to not make a total idiot of himself, otherwise any chance he might have with this new crush will fall flatter than Castiel did his first week on roller skates.

Castiel is NOT a horror person. He would much rather sprain his ankle all over again than to join his friends in a haunted house. But soon Castiel is faced with a choice: either go with his friends to the haunted house, or ask his long time crush Dean out to the Halloween dance. The right choice is obviously clear... but the easier choice is the one Castiel stupidly picks.

Castiel has as close to a perfect life as he can imagine. He's got a fulfilling job, he lives in a nice house in a good neighborhood, and Dean lives with a sweet pup named Taylor just a few doors down the street. Everyone who's important to Castiel is healthy and alive; they're thriving. Sure, it would be nice if Castiel could be in a relationship with Dean, but he'll take what he can get. Day in and day out, life is just as content as it seems.
But nothing is ever truly as it seems, is it?
