"Halloween by Noah Kahan but with a happy ending lol. Maybe famous/non-famous. Had a relationship before the fame and now it’s changed and they’re not doing well. Famous one hasn’t been home in ages - things are just falling apart. They take the space, break up. Non-famous one moves but still sees pieces of their old life in the media (is haunted by it). They both end up in a bit of a dark place struggling with losing the other. They’ve never truly moved on. In the end they figure it out somehow though. I want to be broken and devastated but then patched up with lots of love again please. Maybe after the break up there’s drunken voicemails from the famous one about the terrible treatment that goes with fame and how unhappy they are but the other doesn’t know how to help even if they want to so they start doing something small and anonymously? IDK I’m not a writer lol but this song is haunting me and I need in fic form."
