-Request: vminkook with food (especially pork buns)
"Kookie~" Jungkook heard Jimin calling out to him. He turned around in his seat, a pen stuck in his mouth and gave his hyung a questioning look. Jimin just giggled at him before hopping over to him and pulling the pen out of Jungkook's mouth. He set it down on the table and closed Jungkook's textbooks.
"H-hey! Why'd you do that? I don't even remember what page I was reading!" Jungkook protested, a frown making its way onto his face.
"Relax Kookie, it was page 408. You can study later, come join me and Tae for an evening out?" Jimin requested with a pleading smile.
"You know I can't hyung. I've got midterms in a week. And so do you two! Why aren't you studying?!" Jungkook asked realizing for the past few weeks he'd been the only one diligently studying.
"Cause Tae plans to cram like always, and I'm a genius, so I don't need to study!" Jimin chirped in reply with a bemused smile as Jungkook pouted.
"Well, I'm going to be smart this time and not cram, so please don't bug me," Jungkook said opening his textbook again only to have Jimin close it, pull it away, and hold it out of his reach.
"No! No more studying! You've ignored us all week cause you wanted to study! No more, we demand your attention!" Jimin said with a pout of his own to match the one Jungkook was sprouting.
"Hyunggg! I don't want to fail my classes, I need to study. I'll give you all my attention once exams are over," Jungkook reasoned as he reached for the textbook once more, but Jimin was persistent.
"No, you won't fail anyway cause you're smart. We've already given you a week. You can't stay cooped up for another just studying. You need to take a break, so we're going out. Tae's already reserved our seats at your favorite restaurant, so you're coming and I'm not hearing otherwise. Now go get ready! Tae said he's meeting us there in an hour!" Jimin stated as he walked away, textbook still in hand to prevent Jungkook from delaying any longer.
Jungkook sighed and ran a hand over his face before getting out of his chair and heading towards his wardrobe to pick out a suit since they'd be going to a fancy restaurant.
"I hope this night out is worth all my lost studying time," Jungkook mumbled to himself as he settled on a black suit with a white button-up shirt and a long thin black tie. Jungkook changed in his room and then headed towards the bathroom to fix his dark purple hair. While doing so he heard Jimin humming as he too got ready. Jungkook smiled to himself as he listened to his hyung's voice, he missed it he realized. Which only served to make him realize he really hadn't spent any time with his boyfriends for the past few weeks.
The two males were ready to go within an hour and then they took a cab to the restaurant. When they arrived and went inside Jimin held Jungkook's hand all the way until they were seated. It seemed they had gotten there first, as Taehyung wasn't there.
"He said he'd be here before us, though," Jimin pouted as he tried to call Taehyung. But the younger wasn't answering.
"Maybe he's just running a little late. I'm sure he'll be here soon." Jungkook said as he picked up the menu and looked through all the dishes. It had been his ultimate goal to try each and every single dish they served and he was halfway there.
"Tae!" Jimin suddenly exclaimed rather loudly from beside Jungkook as he jumped up. Jungkook looked up and saw the brown haired male following the waitress to their table with a huge boxy grin on his face. Taehyung was wearing a suit as well but his was gray and he wore a black bowtie rather than a normal tie. Still, the suit hugged the elder perfectly and made him look stunning. Jungkook often wondered how it was that no one had scouted Taehyung to be a model yet. Jungkook also took into account that Jimin was the only one among the three who wasn't wearing a suit, instead, he wore fitted slacks that enveloped his thighs nicely with a red dress shirt and black coat. Even without wearing a suit, Jimin looked as flawless as ever and Jungkook was finding himself falling in love with his boyfriends all over again (maybe he really shouldn't have distanced himself from them all week just to study).
Once Taehyung reached their table he produced two roses from behind his back and handed one to Jungkook and the other to Jimin.
"I wanted to get bouquets for the both of you, but realized I'd have a hard time hiding two of them behind my back," Taehyung said as he sat down at the small round table set for three.
"That's ok Tae, this rose is beautiful! I'm gonna cherish it for as long as I can," Jimin said cheerfully as he took a whiff of the rose's sweet scent.
"They really are. The petals are so red and there's so many of them, where'd you get these? It's hard to find roses this big this time of year," Jungkook commented as he placed it inside his jacket's front pocket with a smile.
"I got them from my mom's garden," Taehyung replied with a smile. Jungkook recalled that Taehyung had mentioned he was going to his parent's place that morning, though he sadly didn't remember the reason behind it.
"Is your mom ok now?" Jimin asked as he tried to set the rose behind his ear only for it to fall. Taehyung nodded grabbing ahold of the rose and tucking it into Jimin's red hair to keep it in place behind Jimin's ear. Jungkook stared wide-eyed at them both, had something happened to Taehyung's' mom? He really should have been paying more attention.
"Yea, she'll be fine," Taehyung answered as Jimin gave him a smile that caused his eyes to turn into crescents.
"That's good to hear. I'm glad she'll be ok," Jungkook said pretending he'd known what was the reason for the visit. He would have admitted he didn't know but Taehyung and Jimin didn't seem too worried about Taehyung's mom, so he figured it was ok. Taehyung just chuckled at Jungkook and shook his head.
"Jungkookie, you do realize I never told you why I went to visit my parents?" Taehyung questioned and Jungkook blushed.
"Ah... well I kind of assumed you did tell me this morning... but I wasn't paying attention... sorry," Jungkook responded feeling guilty.
"It's fine Kookie, I know you're stressed about our upcoming exams. I went cause my mom was taken to the hospital last night," Taehyung said as he picked up his own menu. "But she's ok, it was just a normal cold. The doctors already gave her medicine and she already has enough energy to tell me to leave her alone and go study for my exams. That's why I'm already back, I originally planned to stay the night," Taehyung continued before Jungkook could ask what happened.
"I'm really glad it's nothing serious," Jimin said.
"Yea me too, Dad just loves over exaggerating and making everything into a big deal," Taehyung replied.
"Excuse me, sirs, are you ready to order?" A waitress came up to them and asked.
"I am but what about you two? Do you need more time Tae?" Jimin asked.
"I'm ready too but I'll wait to order until you're done Tae," Jungkook said.
"Na, go ahead and order, I already know what I want," Taehyung said with a smile. The three of them ordered their dishes and then settled into a comfortable conversation about various topics.
"I'm surprised you managed to get Jungkookie to join us. I actually expected I'd only be having dinner with Jimin," Taehyung said all of a sudden causing Jimin to giggle.
"I just had to steal his textbook for him to come," Jimin explained.
"Ah, so he really would have chosen to study over us. I'm hurt, how could you Kookie? I thought you loved us?" Taehyung said placing a hand on his chest in mock offense.
"I do!" Jungkook protested, "I just really want to get an A in my classes this semester!" Jungkook went on to explain.
"So ignoring your boyfriends for a week is worth only an A? I thought it should at least warrant earning an A+. Are we not worth that much Kookie?" Jimin asked with a pout that was obviously fake.
"Yea Kookie. We've been pining for your attention all week, but you kept brushing us off for your studies. I'm offended that all you're aiming for in the end is an A. We should be worth more!" Taehyung supported Jimin and pouted at Jungkook as well.
"You didn't even let us hug you properly all week!" Jimin complained.
"Yeah. Not to mention you haven't let me cuddle you all week!" Taehyung continued.
"And you've missed out on our daily kisses! I want a kiss!" Jimin demanded like a small child. Jungkook sighed before leaning over the table towards Jimin and placing a kiss on his pouty lips. Then he went and kissed Taehyung while Jimin giggled happily.
"There, are you two satisfied now?" Jungkook asked returning to his seat with a small smile.
"No, that's not enough! One kiss isn't enough to make it up to us," Taehyung stated.
"Yea. You've been ignoring us for the whole week. It's gonna take more to make it up to us," Jimin said.
"Alright, alright, what else do you want me to do?" Jungkook asked with a bemused smile.
"Hmm join us for a movie night after this!" Taehyung demanded.
"And make breakfast for us tomorrow morning," Jimin demanded and Taehyung nodded in agreement.
"Oh and I want to cuddle you to sleep tonight, I demand you let me be the big spoon!" Taehyung said.
"Hmm I also want you to give me a back massage, dance class has been tiring, and Taehyung's massages aren't as good as yours," Jimin stated.
"Hey, I tried my best!" Taehyung whined and Jimin reassured him that the effort was appreciated.
"Ok Hyung. I'll oblige all your requests and spend the rest of today and tomorrow with you guys. And I'll let you order me around all of tomorrow, will that be enough to make it up to you?" Jungkook relented. One day of missed studying wouldn't hurt. The two older males cheered with happy smiles on their faces.
"In exchange you let me study for the rest of the week and then after my exams, I'll spend even more time with you guys. Agreed?" Jungkook continued and the other two nodded, they would have done that anyway. They continued talking about other things until their food arrived, after which they began to dig in.
Jungkook had always found the food at this particular restaurant to be quite a delicacy, as such he was really enjoying his food. He wasn't even paying that much attention to what Taehyung and Jimin were talking about until Taehyung asked him a question causing him to pause, food halfway to his mouth.
"Uh..." Jungkook hadn't completely heard the question so he had no answer to give, and Taehyung knew him well enough to figure that out.
"I asked, what is it you ordered this time?" Taehyung repeated his question with a chuckle.
"Oh, ah I don't remember the name...but it had meat in the name," Jungkook replied.
"Hmm...you seem like you're enjoying it," Jimin said but stared at the food dubiously since, really, the presentation of the food could have been a lot better. Compared to the food his boyfriends had ordered, Jungkook's food looked like a pile of meat just thrown together with bits of rice and vegetables mixed in. It really wasn't elegant at all.
"Yea, it's good. Want to try some hyung?" Jungkook asked turning the spoon and lifting it towards Jimin's mouth, but the later quickly brought a hand up to his mouth and shook his head.
"No, I'm good thanks," Jimin said from behind his hand, eyeing the spoon suspiciously. Jungkook and Taehyung chuckled at that, they both knew Jimin was a picky eater, and if something looked bad he usually backed away from it.
"Come on Minnie, try it. It's really good!" Jungkook said trying to feed the elder again but the elder moved away and shook his head adamantly.
"How about if I try it first, then will you try it Jiminie?" Taehyung asked and Jungkook brought the spoon towards Taehyung lips instead as he saw Jimin nod slightly. Taehyung took the bite without hesitation and chewed on it thoroughly before swallowing. He then broke out into a grin and gave them a thumbs up, indicating it had been good. Jungkook refilled his spoon with another bite and brought it up to Jimin's face, an inch away from his lips and gave him a questioning look. Jimin continued to eye the food dubiously before parting his lips slightly. Jungkook placed the spoon into his mouth and then pulled out leaving the food behind. Jimin chewed slowly, his face scrunched in distaste at first, but then it morphed into one of surprise.
"I-it really is good." Jimin finally muttered once he'd swallowed and then a second later in a timid voice he asked, "C-can I have some more?"
The other two males burst into laughter at how cutely Jimin had asked for more. Jungkook immediately spooned more food from his plate and fed his boyfriend lovingly, enjoying the defeated expression Jimin was sprouting.
"Kookie, try some of my food!" Taehyung said as he held a spoon to the younger's mouth. The younger immediately opened up and accepted the food with a smile.
"Oh, it's good!" Jungkook said realizing it was one of the dishes he hadn't tried yet.
"Of course it is! It's basically kimchi but with many more spices!" Taehyung chirped as he held out a bite for Jimin who was more willing to try this than he had Jungkook's food.
"Well, I got bibimbap like I usually do. Still, it's good, I mean you can never go wrong with bibimbap," Jimin said as he fed Taehyung a bite and then Jungkook. The two younger males nodded in agreement with Jimin's statement.
The three males continued to feed each other rather than eat from their own plates. Any passerby would have noticed how comfortable and loving they all were with each other. After all, it was quite a cute scene, seeing the three young adults feeding each other, laughing, enjoying themselves, and exchanging small pecks once in a while. It was clear that they were completely and utterly in love with each other, they were in their own little bubble and the rest of the world didn't exist to them.
When they were finished with the main course they ordered dessert. Jungkook got a chocolate lava cake, Taehyung went for sweets, and Jimin settled for an ice cream sundae. They, of course, ended up eating from each other's desserts and sharing everything. Taehyung noticed that Jungkook ended up getting a lot of the ice cream from Jimin's treat on his cheeks. So he picked up a serviette and began to wipe Jungkook's cheeks cooing at the younger for being such a messy eater when it came to liquid treats. Jimin just giggled at the younger's offended expression before offering him more ice cream which the later took without hesitation. When they were all finished with their food, Jimin noticed that Jungkook wasn't the only messy eater as he found that Taehyung's cheeks were sticky too when he went to pinch them.
"And you call Jungkookie a baby," Jimin laughed as he wiped at Taehyung's cheeks.
"You're a baby too Jiminie, you're usually the one who makes the most mess. Kookie and I usually are the ones wiping at your face," Taehyung said with laughter evident in his voice.
"Hmm that I am, but I'm much more civilized at fancy restaurants," Jimin replied with a laugh.
The three males left after paying the bill and leaving a generous tip. They decided to walk home rather than take a taxi. As they were walking and talking with each other, Jungkook suddenly stopped walking. The other two looked at the younger in confusing.
"Can we please buy some of those?!" Jungkook exclaimed pointing to a food cart that was selling pork buns. Taehyung and Jimin exchanged glances and giggled before obliging the youngest. They all got a couple of pork buns and ate them on their walk home.
Once they reached home, they changed out of their fancy clothes into normal sleepwear. Jimin started up a movie and the three of them cuddled up on the sofa to watch. By the time the movie was over Taehyung was half asleep and Jimin was completely asleep. Jungkook picked Jimin up and took him to their bedroom, Taehyung followed close behind rubbing at his eyes while he stifled a yawn. Jungkook set Jimin down and then got in beside him while Taehyung made Jungkook keep his promise to let Taehyung be the big spoon.
As Jungkook drifted off to sleep soothed by the comforting presence of both his boyfriends, he decided that the evening had definitely been worth all the missed study time.
