Summary
tinnitus (n): the medical term for "hearing" noises in your ears when there is no outside source of the sounds, typically buzzing or ringing.
Your name is John Egbert and god why won’t that ringing in your ears stop.
It takes you a moment and you realize, you aren’t home. You’re in a strange bed under strange sheets and in strange clothes. It takes you another moment to realize you’re in a hospital. You groan, but maybe you actually didn’t because nothing is coming from your throat. No sound is reaching your ears. You try to go louder and there’s just ringing.
