    When Jim get's beaten up by his date's gang, an instructor from the academy is there to safe him. Later, the vulcan offers him training in self-defense.
    Jim soon falls for his new friend, but his trust issues keep them at distance from each other. He knows he has to overcome them, because Spock means a lot to him, but it is a long and complicated process.
