Summary
Ginko has lived a long time, through many names, through many lives. In his undying skin, he breathes, awaiting the next moment like he has every other. He has come into immortality, and lives his life as a mushi-shi in modern day. He's acquired his own shop, established his own business, and has made a mark on the town without ever bringing himself into the limelight. But when he takes on an apprentice, it seems that the past may finally start to catch up to him.
[This is a post-Canon episodic story in the same style as the anime. Can be read standalone, but is intended as a companion piece to "One Thousand Cranes." It doesn't matter which one is read first.]
