Summary
This is a slightly better edited version of my story by the same title on Fanfiction.net. It begins with Will asking Dr. Lecter to write his college recommendation letter, and progresses from there. For the most part they have a blossoming friendship, but of course, it becomes more after they face an obstacle in the form of Tobias Budge, Will's creepy new neighbor. Eventually, Will, Alana, and Hannibal become a strange little family with Will wanting to join the FBI, and Hannibal still a practicing cannibal.
Warnings, of course, for murder, torture, and eventual smut.
Bev/Brian is a side pairing that is just barely mentioned.
