   Summary

   John Watson loses his temper, leaves Baker Street. Sherlock gets caught in a new intrigue doesn't try to get him back. Yet, out of sight does not mean out of mind for either of them. Can they get back to who they were before they met? Can they get back to each other? Do they even want to? This is a slow burn, but hang in there.

   It bounces back and forth between the current and the past at the beginning, then settles and works its way forward to the current again.

   This story very slowly turned into a choose-your-own ending. There are two, endings, and the tags above cover both, thus there are insane conflicts, and your divergent(s) may vary.
