Bodyguard training prepared one for practically any scenario in which the person they were protecting was in danger. However, it didn't prepare Jungkook for what he was facing right now.
Jungkook stared up at they're new employer, well, employers son. Taehyung was the son of a rich tycoon who had many people on his bad side and therefore there was a need for him to have a bodyguard. Much to both his and the bodyguards annoyance.
Taehyung loved to try and make Jungkooks life difficult. Trying to run away, hiding, hanging out with his friends such as Jimin and Hoseok, who Jungkook didn't actually mind but they always felt strange having him around, and the worse one...
Climbing things and getting into trouble.
Taehyung just looked down at him smugly. A lollipop in his mouth and his feet dangling off the roof top. Jungkook just stared at the boy for a long moment before climbing up onto the roof, only to have Taehyung jump up and start casually walking along the roof.
"Sir," Jungkook had to call both him and his father sir at all times. "Please come down, you might get hurt." He said as he watched Taehyung walk away.
"Isn't that why you're here?" The brunette asked as he looked over his shoulder as Jungkook who was quickly walking up to him.
Honestly, Jungkook didn't have an answer for that particular statement. Sure, that was his job, but the one he's supposed to be protecting shouldn't really be running along roof tops either. "Not the point." Is all he decided to mumble as Taehyung readied himself to jump to the next roof.
With a big leap, Taehyung did make it to the next roof. Even if all Jungkook wanted to do was catch him and tie him to himself. Then he wouldn't go running off all the time. "I know what I'm doing." Taehyung called out as he trotted along the next roof. "I'm not stupid-" he was cut off by a lose roof tile slipping under his foot.
Jungkook leaped forward to catch Taehyung managing to grab him by the waist before he fell off the roof. "Yes," he huffed. "But you can be unobservant." He smirked as the boy held to his chest with his arm flushed in embarrassment.
"Good thing you're here then." Taehyung grinned cheekily up at him. Jungkook only sighed and pulled them both properly onto the roof before letting the other go.
"What am I going to do with you?" Jungkook sighed as they sat next to each other on the roof top, coincidentally the sun was setting and they had a nice view.
"Stay by my side and protect me." Taehyung winked, his lollipop gone from when he slipped and dropped it.
"That sounds really suggestive coming from you." Jungkook muttered, not taking his eyes off the setting sun.
"Maybe it was." Taehyung merely mumbled back before resting his head on his bodyguards shoulder.
No amount of training could have prepared Jungkook for protecting Taehyung, but he wouldn't have it any other way.
