Work Text:

You were woken up by a shiver going through your spine. The warmth of your blanket was no longer with you. Your husband, Jotaro, had gotten out of bed and seemed to have forgotten that you do not radiate warmth like your old mutual friend Avdol seemed to do. The blanket was nowhere to be seen, as was Jotaro. You groaned and got up, looking around for the blanket that fell to the floor. Your feet touched the cold wooden floor, another shiver was sent up your spine.

It was the middle of December and all your socks were dirty. No foot protection for you. How have your toes not fallen off yet?

Grabbing the blanket, you quickly wrapped it around yourself, but to no avail did it warm you up. Jotaro's spot in the bed was cold, he must've gotten up quite some time. You shivered some more, and huffed when you realized you wouldn't be going back to bed anytime soon. Sitting up, you stomped out of the room and looked around the house for Jotaro. He shouldn't be at work today- he had a day off and you both planned you'd be spending his day off together. Jotaro always worked, even on his days off. You always had to practically pry him from his work, more often than not. Chances are, he was in his office working on his recent data about dolphins. He always told you about his work, but you ended up forgetting now and then what exactly he was working on at the time. You pushed yourself out of your thoughts and brought your attention to the hallway in front of you.

The door to your husband's office was closed, a sign he was definitely in there. Reaching out your hand and grabbing the doorknob, you twisted it and quietly opened the door. Without a doubt, there he was, sitting at his desk scribbling away in his notebook. Tiptoeing towards him, taking a hold of the corners of the blanket, you reached open your arms and threw yourself around him.

"Raagh!" You exclaimed, hugging him from behind. Your hands found that firm chest of his, feeling his torso up and down. You would've used your hands being cold as an excuse, but it was shameless. Burying your face into his neck, you kissed him.

He set his pencil down and leaned back, turning his head to look at you. "Are you done?" You could tell he was holding back a smile.

"Baaabbeee." You whined. "I'm cold, come back to bed." A shiver ran up your body again once you were reminded about how cold it was.

He said nothing and continued to look at you with his rich blue eyes. They were filled with nothing but love.

"If you don't come to bed, I'll cuddle with Star Platinum instead."

Your husband occasionally got jealous of his stand- you often gushed over Star Platinum. (You had nicknamed him Platty, much to the dismay of Jotaro. Star loved it when you called him that and gave a booming, happy 'ORA!' whenever you used it.) Often being affectionate with Star whenever Jotaro couldn't. You didn't quite understand his jealousy, seeing as how Stands are a manifestation of the user and practically feel the same thing. You once asked him about this and he narrowly avoided the question by stealing multiple kisses from you, until you eventually forgot the question was even asked.

Jotaro sighed, and gave a quick kiss to your cheek. "Alright, I'll be there in a few seconds." You watched him close his notebook and set his pens and pencils back into a mug, moving everything into their correct spot before pushing the chair back and standing up.

Before you knew it, Jotaro scooped you up, carrying you bridal-style. You laughed, and wrapped your arms around his neck for support. Jotaro gave a light smile, and started heading towards the bedroom. Jotaro's body was warm, comforting. The way his strong arms wrapped themselves around you, the way his heart thumped rapidly whenever you pressed your head against his broad chest during intimate moments between the two of you. Before you knew it, Jotaro gently set you down on the bed, and settled in beside you. His arms snaked around your waist, and he nuzzled his head into the crook of your neck.

When he wanted to be, Jotaro was extremely affectionate and clingy. One moment he could be his emotionally distant self, the next his head is resting in your lap while you gently run your fingers through his soft, dark brown hair

You hummed in happiness, Jotaro's body providing a comforting heat. Much better than the cold air that was seeping in through the house. Jotaro breathed in your scent, and let out a light sigh.

Something seemed to be bothering him. What was on his mind? You didn't pry, understanding your husbands silent body language to not ask questions right now. Closing your eyes, you tried to fall back asleep.

Weight in front of you caused the bed to dip, you opened your eyes and smiled once you saw Star Platinum on his side.

Your mind went back to Jotaro and how clingy he was being- he must be reliving memories from the Egypt trip. He brought out Star to protect you. Your heart melted when you realized this, but you said nothing.

"Ora." Star greeted, cupping your cheek and giving you a light smile.

You reached out your hand and grabbed Star Platinum's, holding it and gently rubbing his knuckles. Jotaro's tense body finally loosened up, his breaths steady and even as he held you from behind. Star Platinum stared at you with eyes full of wonder, he never got enough of seeing his User's lover. If Jotaro loved you, he did too. You had stolen Jotaro's heart, along with Star's.
Jotaro loved you with all his heart, he wouldn't let any harm come to you.

You, however, were no longer cold and Jotaro's protectiveness and emotions seemed to have slipped your mind. The warmth of the two bodies in front and behind you gently lulled you to sleep. The blanket slung over you and Jotaro, Star Platinum's large hand in yours, warming up your cold fingers. All this needed, was some hot chocolate.

Sadly, Jotaro had fallen asleep with an iron grip on you. You turned to kiss him, but you were at an awkward angle and opted to kiss Star Platinum, Jotaro would feel it either way. You placed a gentle smooch on Star Platinum's cheek. A grin spread across his features, and murmured a soft 'Ora' in response.

Cold winter mornings were always the best with your husband and his stand.
